We harvest our crystal salt from the deepest and purest
level of a salt mine in the Himalayas. The purest, nearly
transparent crystals, which look like uncut diamonds, come
from a thin bottom layer of the mine, the location of which
is a highly guarded secret. Salt rocks of 30 to 50 kg are
manually cut out in the mine and tracked from this point on
by an internationally accredited independent company.
Transported to the production facility in Delhi, they are
once again tested both by the above-mentioned company and
our chemical engineer. They are cleaned, sun dried and finally
sorted by color. The darker stones are processed into bathing
salt. The purest stones are cut by hand into pieces of between
20 and 60 grams each, washed in brine and sun dried.

While the bath salt production is done in India by our Indian
employees - none of whom are children - the pure salt is shipped
to Germany.Further processing takes place in
the Bavarian countryside town of Raisting, Germany, the headquarters
of JEVATEE NATURALS GMBH. Here, mill salt and cooking salt are produced
by local down-to-earth people whose commitment to JEVATEE
NATURALS knows no office hours. Their ingenuity, devotion and care
is helping our company evolve in a very organic way.
Quality is a Question of Honour
It is necessary to understand that the bio-energetic quality
of natural crystal salt is primarily dependent upon the technical
production process. To preserve its stored energy, crystal
salt needs to be processed by hand, step by step, washed in
brine and dried in the sun. Himalayan Crystal salt from JEVATEE
NATURALS INC. fulfils this requirement perfectly. Because
this process requires continuous sunshine, our processing
is done in our own manufacturing facility in India.
The Difference
Bio-physical research has shown that the consumption of a
crystal salt brine solution has positive effects on the human
body, provided the rock crystals are not processed by machines
but by hand. To maintain quality, it is imperative to observe
processing steps. Equally
important is the observance of the bio-chemical requirements
that are the basis for certification as a table salt according
to the quality of crystal salt. Even more important is to
use the right raw material of crystal salt. The rocks should
have a shiny surface that is achieved only when they have
been washed in brine (sole). After washing, the rocks have
to be dried in the sun. We have our own manufacturing in India
and can give the quality seal for the washed and clean crystal
rocks. In this regard it is important to say that we use only
crystal salt and not the rock salt.
